Marianne Roervik (Oslo, NOR) won 4-3 over Anna Hasselborg (Sundbyberg, SWE) in the Final of the Sun City Cup, held February 23 - 26, 2023 in Karlstad, Sweden. To advance to the championship game, Roervik won 9-2 over Nora Wuest (Wallisellen, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2023 Sun City Cup in Karlstad, Sweden;

Roervik finished 2-2 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Roervik defeated Dilsat Yildiz (Erzurum, TUR) 6-4, then went on to lose 4-2 against Daniela Jentsch (Fuessen, GER). Roervik lost 6-5 to Hasselborg where Roervik responded with a 7-0 win over Maia Ramsfjell (Lillehammer, NOR) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Sun City Cup Championship title, Roervik earned 30.000 world rankings points along with the $3,913CDN first prize cheque. For week 30 of the event schedule, Roervik did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Roervik ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
