Andreas Harstad (Oppdal, NOR) qualified for the 2023 Sun City Cup playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 7-6 against Wouter Gosgens (Zoetermeer, NED). of the 2023 Sun City Cup in Karlstad, Sweden;

Harstad finished 3-2 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Harstad lost 9-8 to Mathias Genner (Kitzbuehel, AUT), droppimg another game, 6-4 to Alexander Lindstroem (Oslo, NOR) where Harstad responded with a 9-5 win over Steffen Walstad (Oslo, NOR). Harstad won 9-3 against Eirik Oey (Oppdal, NOR), then won 8-7 against Cameron Bryce (Stirling, SCO) in their final qualifying round match.

Harstad earned 12.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Sun City Cup. For week 30 of the event schedule, Harstad did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Harstad ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
