Steven Munroe (Saquenay, QC) won 4-2 over Mathieu Paquet (Saguenay, QC) in the Final of the Finale du Circuit, held December 2 - 4, 2022 at the Aurèle Racine Curling Club in Tracy, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Munroe won 6-1 over Frederic Lawton (Montreal, QC) in the semifinals of the 2022 Finale du Circuit in Tracy, Quebec, Canada;
Munroe finished 3-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Munroe defeated Paquet 6-5, then won 7-3 against Zackary Wise (Montreal, QC) and 7-1 against Quebec's Nicholas Gosselin in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Finale du Circuit Championship title, Munroe earned 7.500 world rankings points along with the $3,000CDN first prize cheque. Munroe move up 1 spots after posting a net gain of 5.25 points improving upon their best 4 results so far this season, ranking 78th overall with 56.321 total points on the World Ranking Standings. Munroe ranks 65th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 38.250 points earned so far this season.
