Steve Pauls (Pilot Mound, MB) finished 2-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pauls defeated Dean North (Carman, MB) 11-5, then won 8-1 against Grant Shewfelt (Baldur, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Viterra South 1 Men's Regionals Championship title, Pauls earned 3.250 world rankings points. For week 20 of the event schedule, Pauls did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Pauls ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
