Ryan Hyde (Portage la Prairie, MB) finished 2-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Hyde defeated Jesse Janz (Baldur, MB) 7-2, then won 8-4 against Anthony Friesen (Pilot Mound, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Viterra South 1 Men's Regionals Championship title, Hyde earned 3.250 world rankings points. For week 20 of the event schedule, Hyde did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Hyde ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
