Anthony Friesen (Pilot Mound, MB) finished 2-2 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Friesen defeated Ryan Thomson (Morden, MB) 10-9, then went on to lose 8-4 against Ryan Hyde (Portage la Prairie, MB). Friesen responded with a 11-9 win over Kyle McCannell (Pilot Mound, MB). Friesen went on to lose 6-3 against Grant Shewfelt (Baldur, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Friesen earned 0.375 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 20 of the event schedule, Friesen did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Friesen ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
