To advance to the championship game, Jentsch won 8-4 over Sayaka Yoshimura (Sapporo, JPN) in the semifinals of the 2022 WCT-Japan New Year Medalist Curling in Miyota, Japan; and won 6-5 over Isabelle Ladouceur (Waterloo, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 WCT-Japan New Year Medalist Curling in Miyota, Japan;
 
Jentsch finished 2-1 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Jentsch lost 7-1 to Kanai, then responded with a 8-5 win over Yuri Nakajima (Miyota, JPN). Jentsch won 9-3 against 's in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the WCT-Japan New Year Medalist Curling Championship title, Jentsch earned 18.750 world rankings points along with the $10,449CDN first prize cheque.
