Matthew McCrady (New Westminster , BC) finished 2-3 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, McCrady defeated Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC) 10-7, then went on to lose 7-4 against Jason Montgomery (Victoria, BC). McCrady lost 9-5 to Chris Medford (Kimberley, BC) where McCrady responded with a 7-3 win over Rob Nobert (VERNON, BC). McCrady went on to lose 11-6 against Cotter in their final qualifying round match.

McCrady earned 0.750 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 19 of the event schedule, McCrady did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. McCrady ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
