In their opening game, Hilker defeated Lisa Parent (Calgary, AB) 9-4, then went on to lose 11-5 against Michelle Hartwell (Sherwood Park, AB). Hilker responded with a 10-6 win over Nicky Kaufman (Edmonton, AB). Hilker went on to lose 8-7 against Claire Booth (Sherwood Park, AB) in their final qualifying round match.

Hilker earned 2.250 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 19 of the event schedule, Hilker did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Hilker ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
