10-3 to Randy Bryden (Regina, SK), droppimg another game, 8-1 to Terry Odishaw (Moncton, NB) where Gorveatt responded with a 11-2 win over Glen Hudy (Yellowknife, NT). Gorveatt went on to lose 5-4 against Randy Neufeld (La Salla, MB). Gorveatt lost 5-4 to James Pahl (Sherwood Park, AB) where Gorveatt responded with a 7-6 win over Keith Ryan (Labrador City, NL). Gorveatt won 8-4 against Peter Mackey (Iqaluit, NU), then won 7-4 against Terry Miller (Whitehorse, YK). Gorveatt went on to lose 9-2 against Al Hackner (Thunder Bay, NONT) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Gorveatt ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
