In their opening game, DeSchiffart defeated Makenzie Kennedy (Edmonton, AB) 9-3, then won 8-3 against Alberta's Ryker Miller and 12-2 against Reece Morrison (Airdrie, AB). DeSchiffart won 9-1 against Sierra Androschuk (Drayton Valley, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
