To advance to the championship game, Barker won 8-7 over Jana Tisdale (Regina, SK) in the semifinals of the 2022 Regina Highland SWCT Event in Regina, Saskatchewan; and won 5-4 over Nancy Martin (Saskatoon, SK) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 Regina Highland SWCT Event in Regina, Saskatchewan;
 
Barker finished 3-1 in the 18-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Barker lost 6-5 to Jessica Mitchell (Saskatoon, SK), then responded with a 10-0 win over Callan Hamon (Regina, SK). Barker won 7-4 against Anderson, then won 10-8 against Amelie Blais (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Regina Highland SWCT Event Championship title, Barker earned 26.250 world rankings points along with the $3,000CDN first prize cheque, moving up 7 spots the World Ranking Standings into 20th place overall with 138.701 total points. Barker ranks 24th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 71.625 points earned so far this season.
