Adams/Robichaud finished 3-0 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Adams/Robichaud defeated Guylaine Dionne/Blondin Deschamps (Riviere du loup, QC) 18-0, then won 11-2 against Gaetane Tremblay/Francis D'Amours (Amqui, QC) and 12-3 against Suzanne Dube/Clement Dube (Riviere du loup, QC) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Goldline Mixed Doubles Riviere-du-Loup Championship title, Adams/Robichaud earned 18.750 world rankings points along with the $860CDN first prize cheque.
