Johnson went on to lose 8-1 against Cole Tenetuik (North Battleford, SK). Johnson lost 5-3 to Zachary Wasylik (Winnipeg, MB) where Johnson responded with a 10-2 win over Dennis Watts (Summerside, PEI) in their final qualifying round match.
