To advance to the championship game, Richards won 9-5 over Kayleigh Shannon (Calgary, AB) in the semifinals of the 2022 Sherwood Park U20 Junior Womens Bonspiel in Sherwood Park, Alberta, Canada;
 
Richards finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Richards defeated Kaylin Young (Edmonton, AB) 7-1, then won 9-6 against Shannon. Richards went on to lose 6-4 against Booth. Richards responded with a 10-1 win over Alberta's Mikayla Cook in their final qualifying round match.
 
Richards ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
