Kennedy finished 3-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kennedy defeated Owen Deschiffart (Lacombe, AB) 14-0, then won 14-1 against Makenzie Kennedy (Edmonton, AB) and 6-4 against Northwest Territories's Reese Wainman in their final qualifying round match.
