Ahrenberg lost 11-4 to Marijke Reitsma (Kitzbuehel, AUT) where Ahrenberg responded with a 10-6 win over Lydia Valles (San-Sebastian, ESP). Ahrenberg won 10-3 against Lisa Farnell (Kent, ENG). Ahrenberg went on to lose 13-4 against Alzbeta Zelingrova (Prague, CZE). Ahrenberg responded with a 9-2 win over Caro van Oosterwyck (Zemst, BEL) in their final qualifying round match.
Ahrenberg earned 4.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 17 of the event schedule, Ahrenberg did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Ahrenberg ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
