Caro van Oosterwyck (Zemst, BEL) finished 4-5 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, van Oosterwyck defeated Marijke Reitsma (Kitzbuehel, AUT) 10-7, then went on to lose 13-3 against Alzbeta Zelingrova (Prague, CZE). van Oosterwyck lost 8-6 to Gabriela Kajanova (Bratislava, SVK) where van Oosterwyck responded with a 13-4 win over Lisa Farnell (Kent, ENG). van Oosterwyck went on to lose 9-7 against Virginija Paulauskaite (Vilnius, LTU). van Oosterwyck responded with a 7-5 win over Ajda Zavrtanik Drglin (Ljubljana, SLO). van Oosterwyck went on to lose 10-2 against Marie Kaldvee (Tallinn, EST). van Oosterwyck responded with a 9-8 win over Lydia Valles (San-Sebastian, ESP). van Oosterwyck went on to lose 9-2 against Miia Ahrenberg (Hyvinkaa, FIN) in their final qualifying round match.

van Oosterwyck earned 4.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 17 of the event schedule, van Oosterwyck did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. van Oosterwyck ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
