Juraj Gallo (Bratislava, SVK) 6-4, then went on to lose 10-9 against Ireland's John Wilson. Woolston responded with a 8-7 win over Eduard Veltsman (Tallinn, EST). Woolston won 8-6 against Konstantin Rykov (Vilnius, LTU). Woolston went on to lose 9-7 against James Pougher (Hawarden, WAL). Woolston lost 10-4 to Kalle Kiiskinen (Hyvinkaa, FIN) where Woolston responded with a 10-5 win over Eduard Nikolov (Kyiv, UKR) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Woolston earned 4.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 17 of the event schedule, Woolston did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Woolston ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
