Konstantin Rykov (Vilnius, LTU) finished 3-4 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Rykov lost
7-3 to Kalle Kiiskinen (Hyvinkaa, FIN), then responded with a 9-5 win over Eduard Veltsman (Tallinn, EST). Rykov won 5-3 against Eduard Nikolov (Kyiv, UKR). Rykov went on to lose 11-6 against Ireland's John Wilson. Rykov lost 8-6 to Andrew Woolston (Kent, ENG). Rykov lost 12-6 to Juraj Gallo (Bratislava, SVK) where Rykov responded with a 6-5 win over James Pougher (Hawarden, WAL) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Rykov earned 3.375 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 17 of the event schedule, Rykov did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Rykov ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
