Pougher finished 4-3 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Pougher defeated Eduard Veltsman (Tallinn, EST) 6-2, then won 8-7 against Kalle Kiiskinen (Hyvinkaa, FIN). Pougher went on to lose 10-9 against Juraj Gallo (Bratislava, SVK). Pougher responded with a 7-5 win over Ireland's John Wilson. Pougher won 9-7 against Andrew Woolston (Kent, ENG). Pougher went on to lose 8-7 against Eduard Nikolov (Kyiv, UKR). Pougher lost 6-5 to Konstantin Rykov (Vilnius, LTU) in their final qualifying round match.
Pougher earned 9.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the Le Gruyere AOP European B Curling Championships. For week 17 of the event schedule, Pougher did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Pougher ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
