Kristof Czermann (Budapest, HUN) finished 3-4 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Czermann defeated Timothy Verreycken (Zemst, BEL) 9-6, then won 9-4 against Stefan Sever (Ljubljana, SLO). Czermann went on to lose 9-1 against Mathias Genner (Kitzbuehel, AUT). Czermann lost 12-5 to Martins Truksans (Riga, LAT). Czermann lost 7-1 to Wouter Gosgens (Zoetermeer, NED). Czermann lost 8-2 to Eddy Mercier (Megeve, FRA) where Czermann responded with a 11-3 win over Steve Seixeiro (Lisbon, POR) in their final qualifying round match.

Czermann earned 3.375 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 17 of the event schedule, Czermann did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Czermann ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
