Jeff Stewart (Gladstone , MB) finished 3-1 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Stewart defeated Jesse Janz (Baldur, MB) 4-2, then won 7-5 against Steve Irwin (Brandon, MB). Stewart went on to lose 7-6 against Jordon McDonald (Winnipeg, MB). Stewart responded with a 8-2 win over Hayden Forrester (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Stewart earned 4.250 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the Viterra Berth Bonspiel.
