Bellavance finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bellavance defeated Quebec's Pierre Chayer 8-4, then went on to lose 11-2 against Roberge. Bellavance responded with a 5-3 win over Martin Begin (Laval-sur-la-Lac, QC) in their final qualifying round match.
