Desormeau finished 3-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Desormeau defeated Owen Deschiffart (Lacombe, AB) 8-4, then won 12-2 against Sierra Androschuk (Drayton Valley, AB) and 8-5 against Katherine Sipka (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
