Craig responded with a 9-2 win over Grant Odishaw (Moncton, NB). Craig went on to lose 10-3 against Asselin. Craig responded with a 5-4 win over Morgan Muise (Calgary, AB). Craig won 8-7 against Shaun Meachem (Swift Current, SK), then won 6-3 against Paul Flemming (Halifax, NS). Craig went on to lose 6-2 against Trevor Bonot (Thunder Bay, NONT). Craig lost 5-3 to Koe where Craig responded with a 6-3 win over Scott McDonald (St. Thomas, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
