Chris Glibota (Sault Ste Marie, NONT) finished 3-3 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Glibota defeated Ryan Meadows (Kenora, NONT) 10-3, then went on to lose 8-1 against Brad Jacobs (Sault Ste Marie, NONT). Glibota responded with a 7-1 win over Kory Carr (Thunder Bay, NONT). Glibota won 6-5 against Tanner Horgan (Sudbury, NONT). Glibota went on to lose 8-3 against Sandy MacEwan (Sudbury, NONT). Glibota lost 8-6 to Carr in their final qualifying round match.

Glibota earned 1.688 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 26 of the event schedule, Glibota did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Glibota ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
