Frances Walsh (Irving, TX) lost 9-6 to Julie Segovia (Houston, TX) in the Final of the USA Curling Arena National Championships, held November 3 - 6, 2022 in Eveleth, Minnesota. To advance to the championship game, Walsh won 6-3 over Katie Feldman (Rosetown, CA) in the semifinals
 
Walsh finished 3-2 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Walsh lost 11-4 to Segovia, then responded with a 11-9 win over Kari Kozak (Cedar Rapids, IA). Walsh won 10-4 against Laura Gardner (Rochester, MN), then won 10-5 against Melissa Wheeler (San Jose, CA). Walsh went on to lose 7-6 against Feldman in their final qualifying round match.
 
Walsh ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
