In their opening game, Husain defeated Alastair Fyfe (Riyadh, KSA) 15-3, then won 15-1 against Oliver Echenje (Nairobi, KEN) and 14-3 against Harold Woods (Accra, NGR). Husain won 6-5 against Raju. Husain went on to lose 11-3 against Adil Zhumagozha (Almaty, KAZ). Husain lost 8-5 to Chang. In their next game, Husain plays.

For week 14 of the event schedule, Husain did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
