To advance to the championship game, Rupp/Wunderlin won 8-5 over Pia-Lisa Schoell/Klaudius Harsch (Oberstorf, GER) in the semifinals of the 2022 Mixed Doubles Bern in Bern, Switzerland;
Rupp/Wunderlin finished 5-2 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Rupp/Wunderlin defeated Yekaterina Kolykhalova/Adil Zhumagozha (Almaty, KAZ) 11-2, then went on to lose 8-2 against Karoliine Kaare/Harri Lill (Tallinn, EST). Rupp/Wunderlin responded with a 7-5 win over Lea Hueppi/Jonas Weiss (Dubendorf, SUI). Rupp/Wunderlin won 8-4 against Oihane Otaegi/Mikel Unanue (San Sebastian, ESP), then won 6-5 against Marlene Albrecht/Matt Wozniak (Zurich, SUI) to advance to a B-Qualifier game where they lost 8-6 against Schoell/Harsch to drop into a C-Qualifier game where they responded with a 6-5 win over Lucrezia Grande/Fabio Ribotta (Pinerolo, ITA) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
For winning the Mixed Doubles Bern Championship title, Rupp/Wunderlin earned 33.750 world rankings points along with the $3,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 10 of the event schedule, Rupp/Wunderlin did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Rupp/Wunderlin ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
