Aden Kavanaugh (Halifax, NS) lost 3-1 to Calan MacIsaac (Truro, NS) in the Final of the Lakeshore U21 Boys Spiel, held October 21 - 23, 2022 in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia. To advance to the championship game, Kavanaugh won 1-0 over Jack Higdon (New Glasgow, NS) in the semifinals of the 2022 Lakeshore U21 Boys Spiel in Lower Sackville, Nova Scotia;
 
Kavanaugh finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kavanaugh defeated Alan Fawcett (Halifax, NS) 5-0, then won 11-0 against Mark Strang (Lower Sackville, NS). Kavanaugh went on to lose 5-3 against MacIsaac. Kavanaugh responded with a 5-2 win over Higdon in their final qualifying round match.
 
Kavanaugh ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
