Ashley Thevenot/Dustin Kalthoff (Saskatoon, SK) lost 8-5 to Patty Hersikorn/Steve Laycock (Saskatoon, SK) in the Final of the Great Western Mixed Doubles Tour Challenge, held December 16 - 18, 2022 in Martensville, Saskatchewan. To advance to the championship game, Thevenot/Kalthoff won 7-2 over Madison Kleiter/Rylan Kleiter (Saskatoon, SK) in the semifinals of the 2022 Great Western Mixed Doubles Tour Challenge in Martensville, Saskatchewan; and won 6-0 over Michelle Englot/Derek Schneider (Regina, SK) in the quarterfinals.
 
Thevenot/Kalthoff finished 3-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Thevenot/Kalthoff defeated Sherry Just/Dean Grindheim (Prince Albert, SK) 10-4, then won 8-1 against Kailee Popowich/Trevor Johnson (Saskatoon, SK) and 9-3 against Taylor Stremick/Cody Sutherland (Saskatoon, SK) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Great Western Mixed Doubles Tour Challenge, Thevenot/Kalthoff take home 13.750 world rankings points along with the $1,200CDN prize. For week 20 of the event schedule, Thevenot/Kalthoff did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points.
