Lafrance/Desjardins finished 3-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Lafrance/Desjardins defeated Lafrance/Tremblay 10-7, then won 8-7 against Anne Sophie Gionest/Yannick Martel (Chicoutimi, QC) and 9-5 against Sabrina Beaulieu/David Simard (Chicoutimi, QC) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Goldline Christmas Madness Championship title, Lafrance/Desjardins earned 11.250 world rankings points along with the $320CDN first prize cheque. For week 22 of the event schedule, Lafrance/Desjardins did not improve upon their best events, dropping from 548th to 564th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with 114.847 total points.
