Webb finished 3-0 in the 8-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Webb defeated Doug Small (Peace River, AB) 6-4, then won 6-4 against Hilker and 6-2 against Darrel Veiner (Dawson Creek , BC) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Pomeroy Grande Prairie Cash Spiel Championship title, Webb earned 7.500 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN first prize cheque.
