Knapp finished 2-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Knapp defeated Ben Gamble (Regina, SK) 6-0, then won 5-4 against Carss in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Prairie Wheel Nutana SCT Spiel Championship title, Knapp earned 15.000 world rankings points along with the $1,400CDN first prize cheque, moving up 14 spots the World Ranking Standings into 47th place overall with 67.295 total points. Knapp ranks 51st overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 15.000 points earned so far this season.
