To advance to the championship game, Freeman won 9-4 over Jonathan Kostna (Winnipeg, MB) in the semifinals of the 2022 AMCC MJCT Spiel in Winnipeg, Manitoba;

Freeman finished 3-0 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Freeman defeated Luke Robins (Winnipeg, MB) 7-2, then won 8-2 against Tanner Graham (Winnipeg, MB) and 4-3 against Aaron Van Ryssel (Winnipeg, MB) in their final qualifying round match.

Freeman ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
