Kayleigh Shannon (Calgary, AB) run at the 2022 Michael Izsak Memorial Junior Womens Cash Spiel came to an end in the semifinals with a 10-3 loss to Claire Booth (Sherwood Park, AB).
 
Shannon finished 3-1 in the 0-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Shannon defeated Alberta's Irelande McMahon 11-3, then won 7-2 against Sydney Libbus (Okotoks, AB). Shannon went on to lose 8-2 against Myla Plett (Sherwood Park, AB). Shannon responded with a 7-3 win over CJ Jackson (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Shannon ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
