Marlee Powers (Halifax, NS) finished 3-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Powers defeated New Brunswick's Abigail Holmes 12-5, then won 8-6 against Marlise Carter (Oromocto, NB) and 9-4 against Melissa Adams (Moncton, NB). Powers went on to lose 8-2 against Shaelyn Park (Moncton, NB) in their final qualifying round match.

Powers earned 2.250 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins. For week 12 of the event schedule, Powers did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Powers ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
