Ferris finished 2-0 in the 12-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Ferris defeated Carter Bryant (Guelph , ON) 6-1 to advance to the A-Qualifier where they 1-0 against Jordan McNamara (Ottawa, ON) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Stu Sells Cookstown Classic, Ferris take home 11.000 world rankings points along with the $2,000CDN prize.
