Sandham/Craig finished 2-1 in the 16-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Sandham/Craig lost 7-1 to Beirnes/Forster, then responded with a 6-4 win over Sheri Greenman/Michael Zuliani (Unionville, ON). Sandham/Craig won 9-5 against Carrie Robertson/Alex Robertson (Palmerston, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the Palmerston Mixed Doubles Spiel Championship title, Sandham/Craig earned 22.500 world rankings points along with the $1,000CDN first prize cheque.
