Jennifer Dodds/Bruce Mouat (Stirling, SCO) won 7-6 over Laura Walker/Kirk Muyres (Edmonton, AB) in the Final of the Hardline Open, held September 29 - October 2, 2022 at the Carleton Place Curling Club in Carleton Place, Canada. To advance to the championship game, Dodds/Mouat won 7-6 over Jenny Perret/Martin Rios (Glarus, SUI) in the semifinals of the 2022 Hardline Open in Carleton Place, Ontario, Canada; and won 7-5 over Jennifer Jones/Brent Laing (Barrie, ON) in the quarterfinals. of the 2022 Hardline Open in Carleton Place, Ontario, Canada;
 
Dodds/Mouat finished 3-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Dodds/Mouat defeated Catherine Liscumb/Chris Liscumb (Ilderton, ON) 8-1, then won 10-1 against Edith Cottenoir/Pierre-Luc Morissette (Quebec, QC) and 10-6 against Kerri Einarson/Brad Jacobs (Gimli, MB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Hardline Open Championship title, Dodds/Mouat earned 52.500 world rankings points along with the $10,000CDN first prize cheque. For week 9 of the event schedule, Dodds/Mouat did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Dodds/Mouat ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
