Walker/Muyres finished 3-0 in the 24-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Walker/Muyres defeated Sherry Just/Ryan Deis (Prince Albert, SK) 9-0, then won 12-1 against Erin Butler/Jordan McNamara (Ottawa, ON) and 6-5 against Jenny Perret/Martin Rios (Glarus, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.

With their runner-up finish at the Hardline Open, Walker/Muyres take home 38.500 world rankings points along with the $7,000CDN prize, dropping 159 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 707th place overall with 97.254 total points.
