Laurie St-Georges/Felix Asselin (Montreal, QC) won 8-4 over Laura Neil/Scott McDonald (St. Thomas, ON) in the Final of the St. Thomas Mixed Doubles Classic, held December 16 - 18, 2022 at the St. Thomas Curling Club in St. Thomas, Canada. To advance to the championship game, St-Georges/Asselin won 9-0 over Lyndsey Wilson/Scott Dow (Palmerston , ON) in the semifinals of the 2022 St. Thomas Mixed Doubles Classic in St. Thomas, Ontario, Canada; and won 6-3 over Regan Birr/Todd Birr (Ham Lake, MN) in the quarterfinals.

St-Georges/Asselin finished 5-0 in the 22-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, St-Georges/Asselin defeated Julie Benson/Bret Jackson (Brighton, MI) 11-1, then won 8-5 against Mackenzie Kiemele/Graham Singer (Toronto, ON) and 8-1 against Jessica Shipmaker/Mike Aprile (Mississauga, ON). St-Georges/Asselin won 10-7 against Claire Randell/Nicholas Lemieux (St. Catharines, ON), then won 8-7 against Riley Sandham/Brendan Craig (Guelph, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

For winning the St. Thomas Mixed Doubles Classic Championship title, St-Georges/Asselin earned 22.500 world rankings points along with the $1,800CDN first prize cheque, dropping 175 spots on the World Ranking Standings into 723rd place overall with 114.310 total points. St-Georges/Asselin ranks 12th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 77.500 points earned so far this season.
