Birr/Birr Reaches 2022 St. Thomas Mixed Doubles Classic Quarters

Regan Birr/Todd Birr (Ham Lake, MN) qualified for the 2022 St. Thomas Mixed Doubles Classic playoffs, dropping their quarterfinals match 6-3 against Laurie St-Georges/Felix Asselin (Montreal, QC).

Birr/Birr finished 3-2 in the 22-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Birr/Birr lost 8-4 to Sarah Bailey/Dylan Sipura (St. Catharines, ON), droppimg another game, 8-6 to Catherine Liscumb/Chris Liscumb (Ilderton, ON) where Birr/Birr responded with a 7-5 win over Emma Artichuk/Scott Mitchell (Whitby, ON). Birr/Birr won 9-4 against Lauren Massey/Sam Steep (Waterloo, ON), then won 7-3 against Erin Titkai/Eric Fenech (Toronto, ON) in their final qualifying round match.

Birr/Birr earned 9.000 world rankings points for their Top 5 finish in the St. Thomas Mixed Doubles Classic. For week 20 of the event schedule, Birr/Birr did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Birr/Birr ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
