Emily Bowles/Sterling Middleton (Victoria, BC) won 9-6 over Sasha Wilson/Alex Horvath (Victoria, BC) in the Final of the WCT Victoria Mixed Doubles Cashspiel, held September 23 - 25, 2022 in Victoria, British Columbia. To advance to the championship game, Bowles/Middleton won 7-6 over Diane Gushulak/Patrick Prade (New Westminster, BC) in the semifinals
 
Bowles/Middleton finished 3-0 in the 11-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Bowles/Middleton defeated Karly King-Simpson/Connar Croteau (Victoria, BC) 5-4, then won 9-8 against Kayla Wilson/Corey Chester (Victoria, BC) to advance to the A-Qualifier where they 7-4 against Jaelyn Cotter/Jim Cotter (Vernon, BC) to advance to the playoff round. in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the WCT Victoria Mixed Doubles Cashspiel Championship title, Bowles/Middleton earned 15.000 world rankings points along with the $1,500CDN first prize cheque. For week 8 of the event schedule, Bowles/Middleton did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Bowles/Middleton ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
