Kleiter finished 4-1 in the 10-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Kleiter lost 7-4 to Owen Purcell (Halifax, NS), then responded with a 6-2 win over Ryan Wiebe (Winnipeg, MB). Kleiter won 4-3 against Landan Rooney (Whitby, ON), then won 6-3 against Daymond Bernath (Saskatoon, SK) and 5-4 against Jacques Gauthier (Victoria, BC) in their final qualifying round match.
Kleiter earned 12.750 world rankings points for their Top 3 finish in the U25 NextGen Classic, moving up 14 spots the World Ranking Standings into 55th place overall with 53.434 total points. Kleiter ranks 33rd overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 12.750 points earned so far this season.
