Papley/van Amsterdam finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Papley/van Amsterdam defeated Aline Fellmann/Chris Kovalchuk (Montreal, QC) 9-5, then won 12-2 against Dacey Brown/Andrew Hodgson (Edmonton, AB) and 8-5 against Adela Walczak/Andrzej Augustyniak (Lodz, POL). Papley/van Amsterdam went on to lose 7-3 against Jessica Wytrychowski/Michael Dumont (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
For winning the Curling Stadium Alberta Curling Series Doubles #2 Championship title, Papley/van Amsterdam earned 18.750 world rankings points along with the $1,750CDN first prize cheque. For week 17 of the event schedule, Papley/van Amsterdam did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Papley/van Amsterdam ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
