To advance to the championship game, Carey/Hodgson won 9-4 over Ashley Kalk/Craig MacAlpine (Edmonton, AB) in the semifinals   of the 2022 Curling Stadium Alberta Curling Series Doubles #2 in Leduc, Alberta, Canada; and won 7-6 over Adela Walczak/Andrzej Augustyniak (Lodz, POL) in the quarterfinals.  of the 2022 Curling Stadium Alberta Curling Series Doubles #2 in Leduc, Alberta, Canada; 
 
Carey/Hodgson finished 3-1 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Carey/Hodgson lost 9-7 to Kalk/MacAlpine, then responded with a 9-7 win over Christa Shulman/Rodney Ouellette (Edmonton, AB). Carey/Hodgson won 7-1 against Delaney Strouse/Daniel Casper (Minneapolis , MN), then won 5-3 against Kayla Skrlik/Gregg Hamilton (Calgary, AB) in their final qualifying round match.
 
With their runner-up finish at the Curling Stadium Alberta Curling Series Doubles #2, Carey/Hodgson take home 13.750 world rankings points along with the $1,100CDN prize. For week 17 of the event schedule, Carey/Hodgson did not improve upon their best events, remaining at th place on the World Ranking Standings with total points. Carey/Hodgson ranks th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with points earned so far this season.
