To advance to the championship game, Desjardins/Desjardins won 8-7 over Emilia Gagne/Pierre-Luc Morissette (Québec, QC) in the semifinals of the 2022 GOLDLINE Victoria Mixed Doubles in Quebec, Quebec, Canada; and won 6-5 over Valerie Tanguay/Denis Robichaud (Chicoutimi/Sorel, QC) in the quarterfinals.
Desjardins/Desjardins finished 3-0 in the 15-team qualifying round. . In their opening game, Desjardins/Desjardins defeated Amelie Maheux/David Maheux (Saint-Bruno, QC) 8-0, then won 7-4 against Clare Moores/Lance Wheeler (Golden, CO) and 7-5 against Erica Hopson/Kevin Tippett (Ottawa, ON) in their final qualifying round match.
With their runner-up finish at the GOLDLINE Victoria Mixed Doubles, Desjardins/Desjardins take home 19.250 world rankings points along with the $640CDN prize, remaining in 548th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 5.342 after improving upon their best so far this season.
