Jentsch won 5-4 against Ikue Kitazawa (Nagano, JPN) to advance to a B-Qualifier game where they lost 8-5 against Gim to drop into a C-Qualifier game where they lost 9-1 to Michele Jaeggi (Bern, SUI) in their final qualifying round match.
 
Jentsch earned 10.500 world rankings points for their preliminary round wins, remaining in 14th place overall on the World Ranking Standings with a net gain of 6.375 after improving upon their best so far this season. Jentsch ranks 29th overall on the Year-to-Date rankings with 48.375 points earned so far this season.
